About Prolific
Draft: a person has not checked this text yet
Prolific is a site where researchers find people to take part in online studies. Joining is free. You must be an adult with a verified account, and you must live in a country Prolific supports. New sign-ups go on a waitlist first. Some people get invited fast, and others wait a long time.
Prolific shows you studies that match your profile, and taking part is up to you. Prolific says it is not meant to be a full-time job. A researcher reviews your work after you finish, and a rejected study is not paid. For now, cash-outs go to PayPal, and only approved rewards can be cashed out.
This page also shows how often people talk about Prolific, with links. You can leave your own review too.
